Welcome to Berean Bible Church
BBC is a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church located in New Delhi, India. Our church is named after the "more noble" saints that were found in the city of "Berea” - in the hope that we would be as they were:
“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed…” (Acts 17:10-12)
By God’s grace, BBC is committed to pursue the biblical pattern of the New Covenant churches, which began with the first coming of Jesus, the Messiah. Therefore, we believe the church is to be more like a close-knit family rather than today's popular model of a business or fast food restaurant (1 Timothy 3:5; Galatians 6:10).
Our main priority, as a church of Jesus Christ, is to teach and preach “the word of God” in plain and open clarity without any compromise in order to make mature and faithful disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our desire is that the members of our church would be ready and prepared to stand approved before the future Judgment Seat of Christ at His return in order to hear from their Lord:
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:21)
Our hope is that all the members of our church would be worthy to enter into the kingdom of God to rule and reign with Christ as “joint-heirs” at His second coming (Romans 8:17; Acts 14:22). We also make it our priority to reach out to all those outside the church, in the non-Christian world, with the good news of Jesus Christ, “who is the Savior of all men” (1 Timothy 4:10).
