PRAISING GOD IS A WITNESS
Psalm 40:3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
WE WERE MADE TO PRAISE GOD
Isaiah 43:21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.
Psalm 146:2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
We are commanded to praise the Lord
Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Revelation 19:5And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
GOD IS WORTHY OF PRAISE
2 Samuel 22:4I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
WE PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS GREATNESS
1 Chronicles 16:25For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

2 Chronicles 20:1,21-22
1 Later the Moabites and Ammonites, along with some of the Meunites, attacked Jehoshaphat. 21 He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the Lord and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said: “Give thanks to the Lord, for his loyal love endures.” 22 When they began to shout and praise, the Lord suddenly attacked the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
