He will save His people FROM their sins

Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."

 

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide [″continue″ KJV] in My word, you are My disciples indeed [″truly my disciples″ ESV].

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you FREE.”

33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, WHOEVER COMMITS SIN IS A SLAVE OF SIN.

35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.

36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, YOU SHALL BE FREE INDEED.

 

14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

 

10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?"

11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; GO AND sin no more."

 

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him [that takes place in water baptism v.3-4], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN. 7 For he that is dead is FREED FROM SIN.

 

Romans 6:18 Being then made FREE FROM SIN, ye became the servants of righteousness.

 

Romans 6:20 For when ye were THE SERVANTS OF SIN, ye were FREE FROM RIGHTEOUSNESS.

 

Romans 6:22 But now being made FREE FROM SIN, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and THE END EVERLASTING LIFE.

 

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
